Watercolor salt valentines are a creative way to make cards. Using salt creates a fun effect on the paper.
First, tape watercolor paper to a table with masking tape. Next, use watercolors to paint the background of your masterpieces. While the paper is still wet, sprinkle it with salt. Then, allow the paper to dry. After the paper is dry, wipe off the salt. You will see how the salt leaves a fun effect on the paper. Finally, remove the tape and cut out heart shapes.
You can punch holes in the top of the hearts, thread ribbon through the holes, and attach to pencils. You can also add packets of candy hearts.
